What I do
I'm a founding team member at Arda Atomics, a spin-off of Trumpf, where we develop QYRO, an atomic gyroscope for space and industrial navigation. My title is Senior Hardware Development & Integration Engineer, which in practice means I take electronics from schematic to flight-ready hardware.
Day to day that covers mixed-signal PCB design, analog front ends, and the laser and photonic electronics that atom-based sensors depend on. Then comes proving it all works: environmental qualification to ECSS standards, including thermal vacuum, radiation and EMC testing, and working with suppliers and manufacturers to get it built.
